CHARLES MANSON
Charles Manson has been named "the most dangerous man alive ." People referred as him as the devil. He was born in November 12, 1934 at Cincinnati, Ohio. Unfortunately, during his childhood, Manson's mother sold him for a pitcher of beer to a woman who wanted to have children. His uncle had to find the woman so that he could get his nephew back. He later took his stepfather William Manson's last name. Manson's parents name were Kathleen Maddox the mother and Walker Scott the father. He was an american criminal and musician who led what became known as the Manson family. By 1952, Manson was soon spending more time in prison. In total he spent more than half his life 17 years in jail and He was known for being a mode prisoner. A new chapter in his life began in 1955 when he married a 17 year old girl and moved with her to California. Manson carried out several notorious murders in the late 1960's and he inspired the book Helter Skelter. In 1969 masons convinced several followers to go on a murderous spree which they killed seven people. He lived from 1934 to 1971.
In addition masons followers are what are known as the "mission killers". He was convicted on seven counts of first degree murder for his role in killings. Essentially, his family was doing masons bidding when he killed on his behalf and compliance with his orders in court ruled that masons family was an extension to him . Charles Manson and other members of the family were tried in 1970 and Manson was found guilty of the murder and a secret plan to commit murder. He was given the death penalty, but his was later commuted. He was currently being held in Coloradan prison California. Madison was a cult leader in southern California during the 1960. He was very paranoid and was under the influence that there was to be an upcoming race war. He called this race war "helter skelter" .They believed he was the the reason society was bad during the time he lived filled with violence.
Charles Manson consequences were that they gave him a death penalty. Manson wanted more then murder, he wanted to start an entire race war. While we must also be careful to create a humane criminal justice system. Manson , it seem that he is guilty sin and a continued threat to society. The innocence of California was lost after the mason murders occurred. people no longer felt safe because the deaths were so random that anyone could be next victim. I think the consequence they gave Manson was a good choice because he was killing a lot of people that were innocent.
